​Earn your NAGPRA Certificate!​

In-person, comprehensive NAGPRA regulations and compliance training for Native Nations and institutions with collections.

About the Training

This comprehensive, in-person training is designed for:
  • Native Nations in the region specified
  • Institutions with collections affiliated to the region
  • Organizations with regional or national influence in repatriation work

Participants will receive hands-on training and receive a certificate in:
  • NAGPRA regulations and legal requirements
  • ​Collaboration and consultation
  • Compliance strategy and documentation​
​This training is built for practitioners actively working in repatriation. Sessions include mock scenarios, collaborative problem-solving, talking circles, and focused workshops on compliance
​and museum management. Participants leave with practical tools they can use immediately.
