  1. The information collected about an individual who has provided contributions or requested information through our website is the information provided by the individual. We use that information to complete the transaction with the individual and to send periodic communication such as newsletters, information on upcoming events, future donation solicitations, etc. Individuals can opt out from these informational and marketing communications at any time. The information that is kept is generic information as provided by the individual (name, address, tribe, email, etc.) and giving history. There is no systematic effort to acquire additional information about such individuals, although AAIA occasionally may acquire supplemental information about a donor through the normal course of its operations.
  2. An individual that wants to review personal information collected and request corrections may contact the Association by mail, phone or e-mail at the contact below.
  3. All Internet contributions are routed through PayPal and a third party donor management software called NEON. Credit card information is directly routed through to PayPal or NEON. Both PayPal and NEON use industry-leading Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology to keep all donors’ information as secure as possible.
  4. The Association's policy is not to share personal information about our donors with other organizations whatsoever. We do not sell, trade or rent our donor lists with other individuals or companies.
  5. We will never redistribute credit card information to any third party.
